Elaine F.'s Story

Hi: My name is Elaine. I graduated in 1952, went out in the workforce until I got married in 1954, then stayed home to raise a family. I had two children, a son and a daughter. I went back out into the workforce again in 1966 and retired from the Municipal Government after 26 yrs. of service. My husband and I moved down to the Jersey Shore nine years ago. I am enjoying my retirement. I have three grandchildren and two Grand puppies which are Bichon Frisee Benny and Mollie, I have a new one she is 8 weeks old .Chloe, Have 1 more Bichon Frisee puppy Rusty. This breed of dogs do not shed and are the best for people who have allergies to dogs. They are white and resemble poodles. I am a Great Grand Mom, I have 1 Great Grandchild Jason he is 1 year old now. and a whip. He is so smart and is walking now. and a step Grand Daughter Lydia who is 6 . She loves to color and make things, always writing notes to household telling them she loves them. I am going to have another Great Grandchild in May, It will be another boy. Very excited. My family is getting bigger and it is so nice to have little children around again . If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to charities, then spend the rest on another house, car and my family. Needless to say Great Grandchildren as well. MY favorite way to relax is to watch TV and crochet. I like to keep busy and be productive. Have made many Baby afghans, lap shawls, and scarves, as I joined the Shawl Ministry at our church. To meet people and to expand my hobby of crocheting. Also made Rosaries to send to our men in the armed s...Expand for more
ervices. Made Necklaces out of yarn which have crosses on them all different colors. They were sent to children overseas. Made a new friend with that project too.
